LEOPOLD STOKOWSKI diriguje Dmitrija Šostakoviča 1940

D. Shostakovich. Symphony No.6 in B minor, Op.54 (1939). Leopold Stokowski, Philadelphia Orchestra (1940). In three movements: Largo, Allegro, Presto. Premiered by Evgeny Mravinsky in Leningrad in 1939, Stoky gets the honor here of making the work’s first recording. Restored from the original Victor 78 set, M 867.

Možete podići OVDE ovo fantastično izvodjenje jedne simfonije Dmitrija Šostakoviča koju diriguje Leopold Stokowsky njegov sabrat po muzičkom obrazovanju. Jedno fantastično izvodjenje i jedan stari snimak baš upravo za stari gramofon.
